🎯 Purpose

This is a serious RPG-style Visual Novel designed to provide a risk-free environment to practice the soft-skills around leading a Bible study in Japan, like facilitating good conversation, understanding people's personal needs, challenging them appropriately, maintaining the flow, and the like. The hope is to provide useful, real-world-applicable training for people like foreign missionaries and Japanese church lay leaders. Your goal is to facilitate a realistic, culturally accurate small group Bible study.

🎭 The Wa (Harmony) & Tension

Every action you take affects the Room Stress. Direct, aggressive, or culturally insensitive facilitation will spike tension. Learn to "Read the Air" (Kuuki wo Yomu) and validate emotions (Amae) to maintain harmony (Wa).

🗣️ Features & Mechanics

• Microphone Input: Use the 🎙️ button to practice speaking your facilitation out loud! Typing out a whole Bible study can be tedious, so feel free to talk it out, instead. This feature is totally offline, and relies on your browser's own Voice-to-Text functionality. To change the language the tool attempts to transcribe in, select the desired language in the settings.
• Inspector Tool: Click on any character's portrait to view their "Tatemae" (public face) versus their "Honne" (true inner thoughts).
• Session History: Click the 📜 History button to review past turns, rewind to a previous point if you made a mistake, or export a plain-text transcript.
• Supervisor Meetings: You can schedule an appointment with Watanabe-sensei to get meta-feedback on your performance. Be mindful not to visit him too often!

💾 Saving & Loading

Access the Settings menu from the Main Menu or in-game to download a save code for your current session, or upload a past transcript to resume where you left off.
